Grocers in Cincinnati need to get their acts together.
After swimming this morning, I was going to stop at Kroger to pick up some items. The selection was, well, not good and the prices went up. So, I placed all my items back where they were from (that was for you Daniel) and I walked out. I decided to go to Findley Market in downtown Cincinnati, where I can buy fresh farm eggs for half the cost of other grocers, lean meats, fresh pastas and farm veggies and fruits. Everything is good about Findley, well except it’s not open on Monday’s. So, thought I would head to Bigg’s, this is my first choice of large grocers, but third choice overall. Then I remembered Whole Foods, so that’s where I ended up. I drove all over the city to get eggs and milk, but I was able to buy Snowville milk (my favorite) and Phil’s eggs which are well liked in my house. I walked out full and with all the groceries I wanted. Next trip will be to Findley Market. Now, I’m going to begin my day.
